How was your path to becoming a blogger/content creator?

I would say that being a content creator is becoming increasingly important these days especially due to the pandemic. My extensive years as a content creator in the travel space taught me many skills such as website design, digital marketing, video editing, writing, and public speaking. Because travel drastically slowed down in 2020, these skills I have built over the years have allowed me to pivot to other industries.

Did you face any struggles being a Muslim woman in this field?

When it comes to the work itself, I would say no. What matters in content creation, blogging, and marketing are the results you provide not how you look or your religious values.

What’s your favorite thing about being Muslim?

I would say that my favorite thing about being a Muslim is the shared and unified experience I have with other Muslims across the globe especially during the month of Ramadan. My other favorite aspect of being a Muslim is the daily guidelines Allah gives us to make our lives meaningful and easier. It helps us know where/who to turn to when we go through life's challenges.

If somebody wants to be a blogger/working in marketing when they grow up, what should they do?

Learn what makes you stand out and amplify that. Oh and work smart.

If you can give any advice to young Muslim girls/teens, what would you tell them

Stand tall in your beliefs and never comprise your values to make others feel comfortable
